Nick Cage...is driving angry

Nicolas Cage's next movie involves him escaping hell to kill a bunch of people...while driving. Hey this could be promising
We all know that 'ol Nic has been in a bit of a career stump. The guy has had some good movies under his belt like The Rock, Con-Air, Gone in 60 Seconds, and National Treasure (at least I love that franchise), but he's definitely had some terrible movies a la Ghost Rider and Bangkok Dangerous. So when it comes to Nicolas Koppol-ahem excuse me Cage, his movies play like russian roulette.

I mean he has powers this time...

So what's the deal with this next movie? After his average performance in Sorcerer's Apprentice, this movie is being met with fan fatigue. I mean who actually is a fan of Nic anyway? I guess I'm harsh, but believe me I am actually hoping that this next movie Drive Angry will be a fun, fast paced movie that refreshes his normal fan base with some stand-out characters. I'm especially looking forward to seeing William Fichtner (the bank manager from The Dark Knight) play the demon who chases Nic Cage down. Check out the trailer it's actually pretty cool.

Will the movie be worth watching? Eh, who knows. Good action can only get you so far, and Patrick Lussier is directing which is kind of odd considering he's known for horror movies like Scream and My Bloody Valentine 3D. 
We'll see how it goes come February!
