Hey guys, let's look at what's worth watching this weekend.
WHAT'S NEW
It's only been out for a day, but this jump-out-of-your-seat horror is already getting pretty great buzz. Critics and fans are agreeing that this new installment is scarier and way more freaky than its predecessor. For those of you who didn't get to catch the first one last year, Paranormal Activity and its sequel are about everyday people being tormented by a demon while they sleep. The entirety of the movies takes place through the lens of the camera (or cameras) set up by the characters of the movie. You should definitely catch this one!
WHAT'S KINDA NEW
Red
This movie featuring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, AND John Malkovich has only been out for a week. Red is about retired CIA agents using over-the-top action sequences to top their mysterious assassins. If you're looking to get a solid fix of action and great performances from Willis and Malkovich, Red is a good choice. Don't be too surprised if the movie falls a little short of your expectations though.
Jackass 3DFan of the show? Love watching idiots perform pain-inducing stunts and idiotic shenanigans? Here's your movie.
WHAT'S OLD, BUT AWESOME
This hasn't been out for long, but plenty have already seen this founding-of-facebook story. The movie is a well-written, well-paced, and simply clever film that portrays the untold story of facebook's mysterious founder Mark Zuckerberg and how he became the world's youngest billionaire. If you haven't seen it already, this is definitely a great choice for movie night.
